Restoration can include; 

 

The Prep ~ Sometimes stripping, sanding, primer or shellac is reqired before coating with paint or wax.  

 

Painting ~ using Annie Sloan, Farrow & Ball or a paint of your choice, applied using two coats of colour. 

 

Waxing (by hand) ~ Typically I use Annie Sloans "clear/dark soft wax" worked into the paint or bare wood and buffed if desired, wax nourishes and protects the piece.

 

Distressing ~ depending on the piece I typically sand slightly after paint before wax is applied. Always by hand as I like to 'feel' the piece. two coats of wax is applied and the layers of paint is exposed & the wood/ other colours show- how much or little depends on the individuals choice.
